Study recommended for approval
The final Longhill Road Corridor Study was recommended for approval by the Planning Commission on Sept. 3, 2014. It will go to the Board of Supervisors for approval on Oct.14, 2014. See final study report and appendices here.
Plans, Strategies Presented at Final Meeting
The revised concept design for the roadway, and strategies for implementing the study and phasing future improvements, were presented at the final public meeting on May 8, 2014 at New Zion Baptist Church, 3991 Longhill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188.

JCC Hosts Longhill Road Corridor Study Public Workshops
The Longhill Road Corridor Study is gathering speed and the finish line is in sight. The third public workshop was held over two sessions on February 19 and February 20 at Lafayette High School, 4460 Longhill Rd.
Workshop Helps Clarify Corridor's Future
About 50 citizens attended our second public meeting on the Longhill Road Corridor in November, offering their opinions on safety, bicycle and pedestrian use and landscaping. They were asked to vote on what measures would be most appropriate for the roadway.
October Public Meeting a Success
Our Project Symposium was held on October 3, 2013. About 70 citizens attended and learned more about the project, offered their thoughts and opinions, and helped us start to create a vision for the corridor's future.
